This is my most anticipated movie of 2007 so far. Being a big comic fan, I'm a big fan of Frank Miller (best known for the Sin City comics, though I will always prefer The Dark Knight Returns [the best batman comic everw ritten]) , which this movie is based on.
The comic is a stylysed version of an actual battle that took place between a Spartan army of 300 men and Persian army of near one million men, and the final stand that the Spartans take, knowing they will all die, but doing so for their home.
Oh yeah, I actually have the graphic book, at first I though the Warriors was based on this story. Frank Miller rules! Prozium, you made my day brother!

Yeah, believe it or not I want to see it because it has that whole "warriors" feel to it. They have a very small amount compared to the rest of the armies, and do whatever they can to make it past all of them. I think it captures the real essence of the Warriors.

So many students and I are ditching school for this movie, we figure it's the Friday before Spring Break so nothing of importance will come up. My parents don't mind too so it's awesome.
Sooo many people are going to watch this movie, everyone at school keeps talking about it.
theres billoards of 300 everywhere i go, and i thought by looking at the billboard that this movies going to be like another lord of the rings witch i hate, but when i saw the preview at the theaters i said never mind it looks good, i'll probably buy he game to cause it looks bad.
Might be a little late to post this but tonight at 8:00 central time on the History channel there running a 2 hour special on the true story of this. Should be worth a watch.
All of my son's are planning on seeing the movie this weekend and I may myself. There all going either with there friends or there sweety so I may have to wait. All there friends are talking about it so it sounds like its gonna be a big hit.
