Licence to Kill

Does anybody else here think that this movie is highly underrated? Timothy Dalton isn't as bad as everybody says he is, and the storyline is simpler in this Bond movie: Bond's friend is maimed and his wife killed, he resigns from M16, goes out for revenge against a drug kingpin. It's gritty and violent, and I really like the action scenes.

Plus, Benicio Del Toro as sadistic and evil henchman Dario doesn't hurt either. His death is one of the coolest in the series, as *SPOILERS*

he is dropped into a massive cocaine grinder. The only bad thing I can find about this movie is the ridiculous scene where Bond drives the tanker truck on the one side to avoid the missile shot at him. That would never work in real life.

Anybody angree with me here?

Yeah I agree.  Timothy Dalton plays James Bond really good.  License to Kill is one of my favorite Bond flicks.  I feel bad for that awesome jeep they trashed!  Anyways, it really sucks that he was only in two movies.  But yeah he's good.  I enjoyed the movie.

he was a good bond and he is a good actor ( i heard he's gonna be in hot fuzz which is released in 2007)
I didn't really like him as a bond the first time i saw him but now i've realised that he's pretty good at it, oh yer that truck scene is ridiculous!
