You know I was analyzing this movie over and over again, and have to finally admit that I really admire this movie. I am not sure if i am the only heterosexual man who likes this movie, but that does not matter. The point is this movie seems to project a group of misfits that I think we can all relate to. How we all struggle to make something of ourselves in a struggling world. No matter who you are, whatever race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation you are part of, we all go through the same thing. I think that all the songs are univerally expressed, and no matter what hardship you go through, at least you have those group of misfits to support you, and get you back on your feat. The movie is taken place in 1989, and I always wonder how they will deal with the future that is to come, since we "know" what is going to happen, and what will come of them, as well as what will come of us and our lives.
