I just got back from seeing this movie.  Its good to see Jim Carrey do a serious role that leaves people thinking.  I recommend that you all see this movie because I believe that this movie will make people wonder, are the obstacles that we face in life, a phycological phenomenon or a paranormal event that makes us open our eyes to what we really are in life?  Is there such thing as destiny, or do we choose who we really are no matter what?  This is what I want people to think about when they watch this, who are we?

I dunno. I can't see Jim Carey as a serious actor. very few comedic actors can transition to serious roles. Robin Williams being the exception. remember Adam Sandler's crap fest "Punch Drunk Love"?

It really creeped me out about the fact that the guy said that 2 divided by 3 was .666        !!!!

I am sorry but Jim or James like he likes to be called now is better of doing comedy, he is not a serious actor and he will never be.  Just like Robert DeNiro at comedy, it doesn't work.  Those guys have sealed their styles in acting and they are stuck with them.

yeah i wanna see this one it looks quite intresting.
the whole kurt cobain thing as well in the trailer that alone will pull ass's on to seats!
he was quite good in the truman show

I saw this and thought, it'll probably turn into a comedy because people won't be able to take him seriously. I love his acting in Ace Ventura, Cably Guy, Dumb and Dumber etc. but I just can't get into him being a serious guy. Just like Ashton Kutcher's, and Owen Wilson's new movies. I think when people see them playing those kind of roles they're just gonna laugh!

i see what some of you are saying, but on the contrary Jim Carrey actually pulled it off.  It wasn't so much about the actor, but what the story brought, the mstery alone is worth it.

yeah 2 divided by 3 never thought of that guess now we will have to be more worried about the rise of the devil.
yeah It apparantly is 0.66666666 etc.

the matheematical term is 0.666 or the actual number of the devil 666 so yeah thats a good way to freak us out even more about that day, on the twenty third hour of 666 the devil will rise, yeah whatever as to the film great.
