I am a huge fan of greaser movies and memorabilia and the era. so I was ashamed of myself for never watching Rebel without a cause. that changed tonight. I loved the movie it captured a lot of stuff that still goes on to this day. are there any other greaser movies I should see?

Check out "The Wanderers", "American Graffiti", "The lords of Flatbush" and "The Outsiders".  Oh yeah it's corny but... "Grease."

I recomend a film called "Road racers".  Its an early peice by director Robert Rodriguez and stars david arquette and salma hayak (probably spelt them wrong).  Its low budget but well made.  Link wray is featured in the soundtrack.

well this was one of the first movie to lay down the foundation for gang movie, and its whole culture. It is indeed a classic.

I've seen all of those other than lords of flatbush and American Graffiti. I started to watch american Grafitti but it was sorta slow moving for me. Grease is like the only musical I will watch of my own free will  :p
