Check this awesome (and completely real) picture out! It is of the Joker from the sequel to Batman Begins, "The Dark Knight" coming out next summer. Heath Ledger is playing him. I had my doubts at first, but the Joker LOOKS AWESOME ! He's creepy looking, just a warning.

is his hair not green? it's hard to tell in that pic, I know in one of the batman cartoons his hair was black so which is the true joker?

Wo man thats a pretty scary close up of the new Joker (Or is it a gone off Furie  ) Anyhow looking forward to this new Batman,The last one was pretty good if a bit dark.

Not, for nothing, I actually don't blame anyone for having a fear of clowns.  Nowadays, movies make them look so sadistic and evil.  I heard that they may not go for that look, and this was only given to get the fans excited.  Has anyone heard of this, or is that look finale.

The joker's hair is supposed to be green from traditional standards, at least, I always preferred it that way. Oh, and nice pic, almost looks like a fury that got his make up done by a blind artist. Lol.

Jack Nicholson will always we the best joker. I just don't see Heath Ledger as scary. Besides that picture remindes me of Robert De Niro from Taxi Driver or a character in Manhunt.

that's a good picture bit creepy but where's the green hair when i used to watch the old batmans if Joker was hiding somewhere you could tell by the face or the hair, but he definately has the "Joker" look

No man, I'm a regular on the IMDB Dark Knight message boards, and we have determined that the picture is, in fact, real (for several reasons).

The official Dark Knight website leads directly to the site that first showed this Joker picture. Plus, there are pictures from the set with Heath Ledger walking around in full makeup. It's the same makeup as in this picture.

In other words, this picture is real. Empire was wrong.

'Cowboy is Cool': I've seen what people can do with photoshop. And from a lot of the descriptions I have read of it It seems like a hoax. Maybe it's not, but until Warner Bros. confirms it, and I see it in writing, I'm going to carry on believing it a hoax.
