Hey guys, interesting news. Apparently, there are going to be several teasers for 1-18-08, each one getting closer and closer to the monster's location.

The next one is going to be released with Stardust, and guess where it takes place? Coney Island! The monster is going to destroy the Wonder Wheel, but we still won't see the monster yet.

Once the teaser is released, I'll show you guys. Poor Wonder Wheel!

I saw this preview when I watched Transformers.. It looks amazing, one of those what keeps you guessing. I read somewere that this film is so hush hush that members of the cast don't even know what its about.. Also lots of guesses have been made as to what the monster might actually be.. Some people think it is a transformers sequal. I doubt that though.

At first i thought it was Godzilla 2.

i cant wait for  it! it just gives you a cold chill down your spine! i wonder what it is? i heard its some kind of octopus! but who knows, everyones heard all kinds of stuff

I would like to see this movie. I wanna see another giant monster instead of Godzilla.
Like Swan_Jax mentioned people said it was a octopus......I hope it is. I would love to see a octopus take over the city. When I saw the statue of liberty head fly into the street I got real excited.

the movie should just be called 1-18-08, the title could be the date the attack happen in the movie! that would be cool

I heard its like the Blair Witch and will just focus on that group of people from the trailer. I wouldn't get my hopes up, I bet we don't even see the monster.

that first trailer looks really good i just hope that if you see the monster its not a let down like most films are e.g. the signs

BTW, Tantive. American Gangster does look really good.

But, I can flat-out guarantee you that 1-18-08 will beat it at the box office. Know why?

1-18-08 is 2008's answer to Snakes on a Plane. All the internet movie geeks are going crazy for it. There are over 200 PAGES of threads on the IMDB 1-18-08 boards! And the movie doesn't even have a title yet!!!

Even if the movie's gonna suck, most people are gonna see it out of curiosity.
