Autographs?

Post by adam88 »

Has anyone ver got any sort of signature from any form of celebrity?
My Mother had an autograph from Anthony Perkins, famous from Phycho.  Its funny during those times an actor could sit at a coffe shop and barely have anyone around him.  I suppose since my mother was a child then, he had no problem signing it.
I also have Michael Becks, Deborah Van Valkenburgs, and David Harris's autographs.  ANyone else?

Wow your lucky aren't you? I wish I can get a autograph from my favorite actor and such. I would like to get a autograph from my fav band AFI. I suppose its a coincidence that you meet these people?! I wish I met people like that. I should get out more.

I was never into the autograph thing.  However my father left me the book; "To Catch A Thief" signed by Cary Grant, Alfred Hitchcock, and David Dodge.  Circa 1956.

I got Peter Kays and Patrick McGuiness's somewere.. they came to my old school to watch one of our performances.. was funny.

Also Sir Ian McKellen's autograph, he used to live in Wigan when he was a child.. and he came back to open these gardens just outside his old house. So i got loads of my old Lord Of The Rings stuff signedlike DVD's and posters etc.

My friends got Halle Berry's.

Hey great stuff everyone, especially from the legendary entertainers.  Its sad to see some of these great people pass away, so its always good to have something to remember them by.

Well Scurvy Dog, I am sure that if the signatures are the real deal, then they absolutley count, because the person took the time out to sign it, regardless if you met in person or not.

Scurvy Dog wrote: I forgot about two more autographs that I have: Eric Idle and Michael Palin. At least I think it's those two - I can't remember for sure.

And no, I did not have the privilege of meeting either of them. I was given two "Pocketful of Python" books. One book was written about each cast member. My copies are autographed. I'm not sure if that counts or not.
A Big congrats to you Scurvy Dog..
