It seems like Beowulf has been done to death, but this movie seems in credible. I did not realize it was animated til last night.

Yeah the animation was a huge surprise to me. I'm not sure how it will turn out.

I cannot wait to see this film..
And I have one reason why,
Especially since in most theaters,
This film will be shown in
[glow=red,2,300]
3D[/glow]

Can you imagine Angelina Jolie, [glow=red,2,300]
IN 3D...[/glow]
And she is approching you,on The Big Screen...

It was surprising to see Angelina Jolie in 3D. I can tell by her lucious lips. I think it would be a decent movie.

I think it'll be interesting, looking forward for Grendel. By the way, was Beowulf really arrogant? I never read the 8 million page book but read a minuscule version.

Animation was the only way to make angelina appear like her old self. She's not looking that well at the moment. Dont know about the rest of you, but im not into that size zero look.
How well do you think this will look on non 3d format? Im surprised they havnt brought out more 3D dvd's than what they already have. I'll be seeing this at some point.

She looks like her old self in this movie because it is her old self. They did all of the shooting about two years ago.

yeah I got back from seeing this. Believe it or not, I guess I was not paying attention, but I had no idea this was a 3D movie. I was shocked when the ticket guy gave me a pair of 3D glasses

Anyway, although its not the best movie, the actors voices make it worthy and the battles that are shown on 3D are great.

Might be good. But if they are trying to recreate 300, it isn't gonna work. I might see it.

Had to travel to the city to watch the 3D version, and it was worth it. Some of the more subtle scenes work better, like water flowing out the bootom of the screen and snow flakes falling. It still amuses me how many people in the audience, ducked when the arrows were being fired. The "hide the penis" scene got a good reaction, even if it was a bit simular to the austin powers films. The blood flying out at you in the battle scenes worked well. Comparing it to the final fantasy film from a few years ago, you can see that cgi actors has progressed a lot. The trailer for journey to the centre of the earth is shown in 3D.
The only downside of the experiance is the fact the 3D glasses they gave out, made us all look like a cross between 1960's era Michael caine, and the clich'e classroom nerd.
Overall, it was a good movie experiance. All together now.... "Im here to kill your monshta"

Saw it yesterday and I have to say that the scene when Beowulf was fighting the dragon was the best. Seemed to stray from the original story quite a bit, though.

I'm gonna be honest with you guys......I think this film was absolutely terrible! I bought it the other day for £12 and it was the biggest waste of money ever. Its boring, and I thought the storyline was also terrible.
