Warriors 2 Script

[Vermin16]

Cowboy and the others minus Swan get on the Subway.  Vermin, as usual, is complaining.

Vermin- Why cant they come here to Coney?

Cochise- Because they are the biggest gang in the city. That?s why.

Rembrandt- Yeah they lost people last night too.

Snow- Just relax Vermin.

Vermin- I know. Its just that it finally hit me that we wont see Cleon again, man.  When me and him formed this gang we thought we?d go on until we ran this city. What crap that was. We still don?t know what happened to The Fox.

Subway doors close.

Cowboy- Look man, The Fox will be back. Its just taking him a little longer because he got separated, that?s all.

Cut to.

Swan stands near Mercy while she is on the phone. Doc is sitting down at a nearby table sipping on a beer.

Mercy- Okay, we?ll be there in a little while.

Hangs up the phone.

Mercy- Its all set. Lets go.

Swan- Okay. Doc!

Doc- Yeah?

Swan- Me and Mercy are going to Tremont for a while and we don?t know if we?ll find trouble or not.  The others wont be back for a few hours so when some more Warriors get here tell them to get ready for a fight. I?ll call if we need you.

Doc- Okay, we?ll be there if you call.

Cut to.

The Warriors minus Swan leave the subway station to meet twenty Riffs in orange and one in black.

Riff- Welcome Warriors. There are only 6 of you. We requested all 9. Where are the others?

Cowboy- One couldn?t make it, two unaccounted for.

The Riff stares from one Warrior to the other and then turns toward a large, rundown building and starts walking to it.  The Warriors follow.  The first floor of the building is quite nice compared to the rest of the place.  They walk down to a basement which isn?t as nice.  An almost empty warehouse with Riffs standing guard everywhere leads to a door where the Warriors escort stops and turns.

Riff- He will see you now.

Swan and Mercy get off the subway and head up the street to her place. Swan looks around cautiously.

Mercy- Swan, c?mon. We gotta hurry!

Swan- I know but I got a bad feeling about this.

Mercy- Then hurry will ya?

They go to a door at a dumpy building and Mercy pulls a key out from under the mat. She tries to open the door.  Swan looks around and out of the corner of his eye sees a man run into an alley. An Orphan. Not very stealthy.

Swan- Hurry up.

Mercy- I got it.

They go in and look around. Mercy sees a note on a table and reads it as Swan looks out the window.

Mercy- Oh God!

Swan- What?

Mercy- My sister left this note.  It says that The Orphans were here and asking about me.  She left for Coney already.

Swan- Get your stuff.

Mercy runs around and throws some things into a bag as Swan picks up the phone.

Swan- Hey its me. Yeah. Get everyone down here now! Real trouble. There were a few outside a minute ago.

From another room

Mercy- What!?

Swan- Nothing. Okay get down here quick.

He hangs up the phone.

Swan- You ready?

Mercy- Yeah.

Swan- Lets get outta here.

They run out the door and head for the subway as a bunch of Orphans see them and follow screaming ?Orphans fall in. It?s the Warriors!?

They are almost at the subway as Swan looks over his shoulder and sees at least 20 Orphans following.

Swan- We wont make it to the train. Even if we do what if there is no train?  We have to hide somewhere.

Mercy- Over here.

She leads Swan to what looks like an abandoned auto garage.  They run in and close the door.

Swan- That was close. Man am I hungry.

Mercy- There?s a fridge in the corner.

Swan goes to the fridge and grabs a beer and a half eaten sandwich. He looks at the wall and sees a burner that reads ?Orphan Killers?

Swan- Who are they?

Mercy- Just a group of kids that like beating up on the Orphans. Some good fighters actually.

Swan- How many?

Mercy- About 20. Why?

Swan- No reason.

He can hear the screaming and pounding of the Orphans outside.

Swan- I hope this door is strong.

Mercy- now what do we do?

Swan- We wait.
