[Sleeping Dragon]

Part 1
July 13,1979.Riverside Park,3:35 AM

Sandy was running hard,as fast as he ever did run.Gotta get 'em,he thought, gotta get 'em for labeling Cyrus.Sandy was a newblood,and he wasn't very attuned to being a Fury yet.However,he could flex real well and he was their muscle,and he had attitude and often forgot to stay quiet.His face was painted army green and black,and he had a flame tatoo on his left arm.He felt as though another clique would be better for him,but for now,he was with the Baseball Furies.He had only been with the Furies for two months,yet he was so good,he went to the conclave and saw Cyrus get wasted,and he vowed to avenge his death.When Sandy found the other seven Furies,they were lying on the ground,beaten real bad.Sandy was a slow runner,and he hadn't gotten far before he couldn't run anymore,and he missed the whole brawl."Oh dammit!"he said, knowing there was no one else around,because the Furies always talked with each other.He dropped his Louisville Slugger and ran over to Joe,who was lying on his back.

Sandy:Joe!Joe!Man,get up,you're alright.
He lifted him up by the shoulder and got him to his feet.
Joe:Awww man,my head...Sandy?That you?
Sandy:Yeah it's me.Uhh,what happened?Where'd they go?
Joe:I dunno.We got our asses kicked.Where were you?
Sandy:Uh,I,uh,couldn't keep up.You know how I'm a bad runner.
Joe:*sigh*Alright,let's get the others up and get back to the hangout.
Sandy:You don't wanna go after 'em?
Joe:Nah,let someone else have 'em.Besides,they're probably gone by now.Either way,I'm beat...literally.
The two of them laughed as they went to get the rest up.

As the Furies got their bearings, Joe explained what had gone down in the past ten minutes or so.  The Furies,who only spoke with each other, got back to their hangout, only to find it had been bombed by their oldest rivals, who they had been at war with ever since the Furies started in Riverside two years ago.

Sandy:I can't believe this!  Those dirty, rotten bastards!
Joe:Calm down, man.  It happens, alright?
Sandy:Yeah, but how could we let the Lancasters snuff out our hangout?!  We've never been hit this hard!  Look at it!
Jackie:Calm down, big guy.  It ain't like we can't fix this.
Ty:Yeah.  We'll get 'em back, right Joe?
Joe:Yeah, right.  We'll get 'em.  I wonder how they hit us, though.  There's pigs on stakeouts everywhere tonight.
Carlton:They musta had to bust some other heads.
Yaz:We hardly seen any action at all tonight.  Someone probably got those cops but good.
Ty:Who d'ya think?
Carlton:I dunno.  Probably the Charlemagnes.  They're pretty heavy.
Ted:Yeah I remember the last time we brawled with them.  It got rough.
Hank:Well, we better clean this crap off the walls.
Yaz:Yeah, then we're goin' out and finding them!
Ted:And wreckin' them!  You'll finally get some action Sandy!
Sandy:Alright!  And I'm doin' this here for Rollie!  S'a damn shame he got pinched.  He had those cops goin' pretty good, too.  If it weren't for that pansy who maced him, he woulda gotten away.  This one's for you, buddy!
The Furies decided they needed to get the Lancasters as quick as possible, so they left Ty and Hank to tend to their hangout as the rest of them made their way down to the intersection of 96th Street and Broadway: Lancasters turf.

Part 3

The Furies armied down to the Lancasters hangout, bats at the ready. Joe told Yaz and Jackie to go around back while he, Sandy, Carlton, and Ted, along with the other soldiers they picked up along the way, would take care of the boppers in the front.  They were too mad not to talk.

Joe:LANCASTERS!!!!  Get your candy-asses out here NOW!!
The was no answer.
Joe:Fine then.  Bust it, Sandy.
Because he was the strongest, Sandy stepped up to the door and kicked it open.  The Furies filled the doorway.
Sandy:Let's go, you bastards!
Lancaster 1:Oh s**t!  Furies!  Look!
Lancaster 2:Let's get 'em!
Lancaster 3:You lame chumps are goin' down!

Most of the Furies held their ground, but a few rushed the Lancasters, who did the same.  All in all, there were about twelve Furies and fourteen Lancasters, with 6 more who joined the fight.  Carlton led the rush toward the Lancasters, swinging right for one's ribs, making a direct hit.  One soldier caught a bottle in the face and the thrower leaped onto him, pounding and trying to get his bat, fighting in a ground struggle.  The Lancasters who broke through ran at Sandy first, who caught two of them and threw them back.  He then swung at one and hit him in the neck and kicked the other one in the stomach and smashed his face on the floor.  Joe and Ted double-teamed a Lancaster and Ted grabbed him from behind, choking him, while Joe swung his bat and hit him hard in the stomach, causing him to throw up.  One Lancaster knocked      a Fury on his back and stepped on him and grabbed his arm, trying to break it, but Sandy came over and knocked his lights out with a hard swing that caused him to turn around and walk into a wall.  Sandy then got jumped and was then cracked in the leg with a chair leg.  Ted came over to help and belted one of them in the face then kneed his stomach hard.  He was then knocked out when a Lancaster grabbed him and threw him into a table.  Carlton broke his bat on a Lancaster, who met a Fury's cleat.  Three Lancasters jumped a Fury, but were stopped when Sandy and Joe brought them down.  Sandy got the last Lancaster in full nelson while still holding his bat and choking him with it and drove his knee into his back, putting him into a crucifix hold.  Joe proceeded to lay into him, and them smashed his face in.  Just after the Furies were done, four Lancasters fell down or were flung in through the back where Jackie and Yaz emerged, nodding with approval. The Furies had won, and Joe called for spray.  He then proceeded to tag the Furies mark on the wall, and then the Furies went home laughing, proud and satisfied.
