hey ive done the odd bit of writing and thought itd be great to do some warriors fan-fic when i saw this thread.
ive written some little bits and definitely think i could give it a go =]
just wandered what people would want to see? any ideas? gangs you wanna see?
i started writing something set between the movie and the jailbreak comic (which incidentally i havnt read yet but this just means no ajax, sorry ajax-lovers!). it was just to find my feet, but it started with rembrandt and cowboy out bombing another gangs turf and cochise and snow at the hang out talking about the punks making a comeback reported on the radio.
im quite excited =]
but yeah any ideas, and also i was wondering what anyone thought of the idea of swan and mercy taking some time away from the warriors before returning?
what do you wanna see?

Re: what do you want?
heres what i started just a draft or whatever and not much really happens. if anyone likes it ill def try and finish something off, got an idea of a cool enough plot, otherwise, bring on the suggestion!
PIECE of Mind
An episode of The Warriors
“[bad word deleted].”
Rembrandt shook the shell of his spray paint, with a desperate rattle.
“Hurry up, man.” Cowboy looked behind him, restlessly.
He squeezed the cap until it pushed into his fingertip more than the can. A few drops, Warrior red, spurted out, falling short of the wall. That was it. His burner looked back at him, incomplete.
“Oh, no.” He threw the can to the ground in frustration.
“That's all you brought? We were supposed to bomb this place! Aww, crap.”
In a flash, Rembrandt and Cowboy leaped to the wall - the shadows. Instinct. The sound of breaking glass had broken the still air.
“We oughtta go, man.” said Rembrandt. He was edgy. Behind enemy lines anything could happen - he knew that. Cowboy narrowed his eyes.
“One minute, Rembrandt.”
Crouching, he moved to the edge of the wall. He looked into the street light to see what was about to go down.
In Coney, Snow and Cochise sat in the neon twilight, on top of the hangout. The Wonder Wheel rotated with a mechanical grace and the night was quiet. The waves gently broke on the boardwalk. About twenty feet from the hangout a trash can burned beside a disused toll booth, illuminating the husk of smashed glass and debris.
Cochise leaned back and finished his beer, with cool relaxation. He turned to Snow.
“Hey Snowball, you hear the radio?”
He threw the empty bottle at the flaming trash can, missing by a few inches and knocking out one of the few remaining shards of glass from the booth.
“No.” He replied, lifting his head up.
“The Punks are flexing again.”
“Those chumps? Who let them make a move?” he drawled. He got up and grabbed an empty bottle from the floor, turning it in his hands.
“Moonrunners.” announced Cochise, he looked up at the sky. “You remember the night?” he cracked a wide smile, “We wasted those Punks in that bathroom.”
“Wrecked their sorry asses.” Snow stood up and raised his arm. Glass on metal made a resounding crash as the bottle hit the burning garbage. For a moment the flames erupted chaotically. He gave a knowing look to Cochise.
“Hey, whatever man.” He muttered. Snow sat down.
“Moonrunners? I'm surprised.”
“Ah [bad word deleted] 'em. They're just taggers. Those dudes ain't got no muscle.”
“Sure.”
“Y'know, talking of writers, where you think Rembrandt's at?”

Re: what do you wanna see?
I'm not sure if you're new to this section or whether you've written a piece on here before, but let me just say, it's always good to see a new thread by a new author pop up. 8)
Anyway, I must say I do quite like the piece you've thrown up. You have excellent writing skills, and I also find myself wanting to know a bit more about the story, such as where Rem & Cowboy are, and if the Punks are gonna be looking for a revenge attack on the Warriors. I know you haven't posted for a couple of days, but pray continue.

Re: what do you wanna see?
hey yeah this is my first peice. i joined the site in 06 and recently rediscovered my love, well that never went away, but my obsession for the warriors. i have been away for a few days and before i went didnt get much interest on my post so it kinda slipped my mind to do anything with the story. it was just a warm up kinda thng but id def like to try and fill it out and then i will post. also an aspiring author friend of mine and me might do a collab at some stage cus we need a project to get on with so we dont fall out of touch again.Dud wrote: I'm not sure if you're new to this section or whether you've written a piece on here before, but let me just say, it's always good to see a new thread by a new author pop up. 8)
