NO MORE ENTRYS!! I am in the middle of matchmaking. 1 of the matches will be a 3 way tie.

This is how the 3 way tie will work:

The 3 will have a contest. The worst one will be elimanated, then the remaining 2 will have another match for a place in the final.

This is how the 3 way tie will work:

The 3 will have a contest. The worst one will be eliminated, then the remaining 2 will have another match for a place in the final.

Doing it this way, one person will have had to win twice to get to the final, whereas the opponent will only have had to win once

Another option: do it using the same formula as all those reality shows (like Dancing with the Stars!), and have all five compete, and the one with the least amount of votes is eliminated each week

The benefit is that the contest lasts longer, everyone gets to compete on the same theme, and the tension skyrockets!

Here's a suggestion. Round one proceeds as normal, with two people being eliminated. Then round two is the three winners against each other, with the weakest fic being eliminated, and the final two going head to head for round three.

It's not ideal, but as far as I can tell it's the most fair way of doing this with an uneven number of contestants.

Or how about this. The top 2 from the 3 way tie go through, and meet the winner of the two way tie. The top 2 of them will be the finalists.

That is how it is going to work.
