To be perfectly honest, were it my contest, I'd have advanced Suburban Warlord over skullboy. Not to say skullboy didn't put out a good effort (probably better than most people could do, please don't take any of this post as an insult), but in my opinion SW's story was just better all around. The composition was superior, there was better pacing, the exposition was more interesting, the dialogue was written very well (something that's often hard to pull off), and it just generally looks like more work was put into it.

Like I said, it's not my contest and obviously the decision's been made, but I just thought I'd put this up as a sort of dissenting opinion. SW, I can't wait to see the end of that story, I found the first part very intriguing and I do hope you'll finish it at some point.

I appreciate your view point. Thanks for the positive comments. To be
honest, I am not a very competitive person really. I do plan to finish it
off over the three day weekend coming up. I will post it on it's own thread
as a complete work under "All Hallow's Eve". Respect to all who created
and participated in this competition.
