Encouragement and thanks

Having just completed my first fanfic ever, I would like to thank this wonderful community for letting me feel confident enough to share something like this. It's very hard for me to just offer something that I have made up for criticism, but with you guys, I know that even if you don't like it, you'll have nothing but kind words. So all you other aspiring authors, keep bangin' away, 'cause I can imagine no better place to do it!
