The Broken Skulls

Let me tell you how it started. My name is Jet, I cant remember how I got it but its been my name for years. Me and two friends, Monkey and Jacko had been walking down to our usual  bar in Sheepshead Bay one night. Now we werent the kind of guys who would go looking for a fight but we wouldnt back down from one either. So we entered the Dying Unicorn and sat down at our usual tables. The air was thick with cigarette smoke as usual. But there was something different about tonight. Over in the corner there was seven guys standing in black vests suede vests. They said something o nthe back but I couldnt really make it out. I stared at them for a while until one turned and caught my eye. I quickly turned round. Then our drinks arrived and I started gulping down the sweet beer. Then one of the guys walked past us on the way to the bathroom. I saw what it said on the back of his vest. 'Satans Mothers'. I'd heard about those guys but never seen one before. When he came out the bathroom he stared right into my eyes and I stared back. He walked by and sat down again. I looked round and saw him talking to one of his friends and pointing at me. I turned round and drank again. After my drink I needed the toilet.
"Be right back guys, I gotta take a leak" I said to Monkey and Jacko as I stood up out of my seat. I walked to the bathroom and went in the door. I stood at the urinal peacefully doing the toilet and some guy walked in behind me. I thought nothing of it and zipped up my pants. I turned round and recieved a hard punch to the nose. Blood splattered onto my clothes and the wall behind me.
"You wanna fuck with the Mothers!? Huh pretty boy!?" The Satan's Mother said as he headbutted me in the face, sending me to the floor. I lay there for a minute slightly dazed. Then he pulled me up again. I felt a rage burning inside me and I brok the hold he had on my shirt. I thumped my fist against his mouth and he fell back.Immediatly I jumped on him and started smacking his face with my fist. I started headbutting him and smashing his head of the ground too. Then the door flew open and more 'Mothers piled in. I felt boots rattling off my face and I fell off the now dead 'Mother. I curled up into a ball and took the beating. It hurt like hell. I started to feel faint and then I heard the door bursting open again. Jacko and Monkey came running in and fought the 'Mothers off. They punched and kicked their way through the gang until they all lay on the floor in pain. Jacko helped me up and we all walked out the door, blood dripping form my head.

From then on we decided to form a gang. The Broken Skulls. We would take the Satans Mothers down and own Sheepshead Bay. That was three months ago.

Now I'm lying in a hospital bed. I woke up a day ago from a coma. The 'Mothers managed to win the last battle we had with them, resulting in me getting taken away in an ambulance unconscious. Weve got a pretty solid rep now. A gang of over 100 men, respect from several gangs and most importantly, the Mothers are nearly finished. I'll tell you the story of how we got were we are later. Its dinner time now.

I sure did and its awesome. I ran out of posts last night so I couldnt leave a review. I'm going to read the update now and leave you a comment  Part 2 up tonight!

Part 2: The night we faced the Satan's Mother's we all went back to my place. We sat in the small living room wih the TV on very low. We began talking about what we were going to do.

"We start a gang" I said after Jacko asked what we should do.
"Yeah, us and what army?" Monkey asked
"We'll go recruitin' tomorrow, I got a few good brawlers I know who work in the factorys down the street who we could ask, and you guys just get anyone you can"  I told him
"Sounds good. So what we gonna call ourselves?" Jacko said
"The Broken Skulls, that sounds good" I said
"Yeah cool. Were gonna take these Satans Mothers creeps down man, haha" Jacko said laughing. After that we all went to bed.

So the next day we all left the house and went looking for soldiers. I walked down to the factories and tried to talk some guys into joining.

"Yo Joey, whats up?" I shouted to Joey, a big black guy with plenty of muscle.
"Yo Jet what can I do for ya?" He said back
"You ever heard of the Satans Mothers?" I asked
"Yeah, I've had a run in with 'em a couple of times, nothin' serious but still..." He said
"Well we had a bit of a run in with them in the bar last night, Me, Jacko and Monkey took out quite a few of 'em. So we aint happy about it, they probably aint either, so we decided to start up our own gang to take the bastards down. You want in?"
"ell yeah, I need a bit of action. And hey, I'll get a few of the guys down here in too. They're good brawlers" Joey said
"Good. Well come down to the docks at 9pm tonight and we'll get it started" I told Joey. I turned and left.

We met back at my place. Jacko had managed to recruit 6 guys, 4 random guys he met in a back alley. The other 2 were former Panzers. They would have good expierience. Monkey never recruited anyone but managed to find a great abadoned building for a HQ. The time came later for us to go to the Docks. We left the apartment and strolled down to the meeting place.

Part 3:

"Alright listen up!" I said loudly. The murmurring of the small crowd stopped. "Now as you all know, this is the beginning of the Broken Skulls. I will be the leader of this gang and Jacko will be second in commadn, The Warchief. Monkey will take the lead whenever me or Jacko aint there. Now I'd like to thank you all for turning up but we gotta see if you guys have what it takes to work as a unit. Become a family. So the six of you will go with Jacko, into The Satans Mothers turf. When you get there you will each snuff out a Mother's tag. This test is to see that you got balls. Then the six of you will go on the hunt for 4 Mother's. You waste them and come back here alive and you're in. Remember you'll have to act as one to get this job finished, like a Family if you will. Report back here at 10pm. Now Jackos gonna show you the Broken Skulls Tag. Good luck men." My speech ended and Monkey called me over for a word.

"You sure its wise puttin' these guys right in the enemies tuf so early on?" He asked me
"Its the only way to see if they've got the guts and the skills. Besides we aint officially their enemies yet. We aint got colours" I said smiling. Then I walked away from Monkey toward the street. He followed me without even being told. That was a good sign. He respected me.

"Lets go to the tailor down the street. We gota get ourselves some colours"

Part 3 continued : Me and Monkey entered the tailor shop. It was nearly closing time so there wasnt any other customers. We entered and  the tailor asked if he could help us.

"Yeah" I said "I'm looking to buy some plain red sweaters" I told him
"No problem, that'll be 50 bucks" The Tailor told me
"And I'd also like to buy 20 blue leather vests with 'The Broken Skulls' on the back" I replied
"Oohh thats gonna cost ya 200 bucks. You want any logos on these vests?" He asked
"Well I think the name says it all my friend" I said cooly
"OK, Now thats gonna cost ya.....250 dollars"
"No problem, I'll come by and pick em up tomorrow" I told him
"Okay sir, they'll be ready by 10am" He said
"Good. Oh and another thing, do you have any.....protection?" I asked
"Um....no why? You aint gonna be causin trouble around here" He said slightly worried.
"Oh no no no, I'm just sayin things might be gettin' a little rough around here. We could help you with that. Think about it Ok buddy?" I said walking out the shop.

Me and Monkey walked down the street smoking cigarettes when we saw a group of Mother's up the street.

"Shit" I said "Let get outta here" I said to Monkey as the Mother's spotted us and began to run after us. We sprinted down the street and turned the corner. We continued to pound pavement as we turned into an alley. The alley was narrow and smelled of piss. We turned a corner and my heart sank. A dead end. What the hell were we going to do? I looked around and saw a pile of old furniture. Weapons. Me and Monkey started raiding through the pile in search of anything that could be used, chair legs, bottles, wires for whipping, anything. We both came out with a weapon in each hand. I had two chair legs and Monkey had a wire and a chair leg. We heard the Mother's before we seen them and got ready. They came sprinting round the corner and smiled. The one at the front started to talk. It was the guy from the bar.

"You pussies is dead" He sadi walking forward. We braced ourselves for battle.

We stood staring at each other for a ,moment. My heart was pounding but I was ready for them. Somewhere in the back of my mind I thought I was going to get wasted but I pushed that thought out of my head quickly. I decided to make the first move. I charged at hem and Monkey followed closely. I raised my weapon and swung for the guy at the front. He ducked under my chair leg and came up trying to hit back with a headbutt, but I saw it coming. I swung my other weapon and it caught him in the jaw. The Mother went spinning as he fell to the ground. I looked down and saw blood coming from his mouth. He writhed in pain on the floor as I stood in a trance. Then suddenly I was brought out the trance by a hard punch to my eye. I flew back into the wall and whacked my head off it. I felt dazed for a moment but managed to come to my senses just before a hand smashed into my nose. I moved oput the way and heard the crack of the guys knuckles on the wall. He held his hand in pain as I gave him a sharp uppercut to the chin and then a knee to the groin. He doubled over in pain and seeing this, I jumped into the air and came down on his head. He died instantly. I turned round and caught a glimpse of Monkey swinging his wire about .His wire. It was lethal. He nailed a Mother right on the forehead, spurting blood against the wall. Then I saw a glint of silver as a Satans Mother ran up to Monkey and brought a blade down his eye. Monkey screamed and held his wound, dropping his weapons. I ran over and clocked the 4 mothers on the head with my chair leg, sending them all to the floor in one swing. I grabbed Monkey and told him to run. We sprinted for a sloid five minutes before stopping near the hangout.

"You okay dude?" I asked him
"Yeah...yeah I'll be fine" He replied
"Good. Now lets get back to the hangout and get these guys. Were gonna clean the Mothers out as soon as possible" I siad entering the Hangout. The others stood in wait with grim looks upon their faces.

Okay I havent updated in a while, actually longer than a while, but hey here we go again.


Me and Monkey stood in the doorway to the hangout looking at the 'soldiers'. They never said anything but there was something in the air that seemed wrong.

'What happened?' I asked
'Its Joey, Jet'  Jacko told me
' Aw man what happened?' I asked , dreading the answer
'He went off on his own to bomb a few more tags and.....and he never came right' Jacko told me. I felt a violent jolt in my stomach, as if I'd just been punched. I'd got Joey into this mess. I told myself he was still alive, they had just beat him up a bit. I knew it wasnt true but I just keppt saying that in my head.
' Were goin' back tonight. Were gonna got vengeance for Joey' I told the men. Tears welled up in my eyes as I raised a hand and ordered them to follow me out the door. The bastards had to pay.

We marched in unison down the deserted streets. It was only a short walk into 'mothers territory and we arrived quickly. Jacko led us to the spot where they had last seen Joey. It struck me as odd that there was no Mothers about but I was so consumed in anger I never thought anything of it. I kept marching in silence deeper into enemy terraine. We walked down a cramped back alley that smelled of urine and stale cigarrete smoke. I looked to the wall and sawa Satans Mother tag, half snuffed out. You could see someone had sprayed 'The Brok-' on the wall and there was a large stray line going down the wall. There was a small streak of blood on the floor too. I guesses that was were Joey had tried to go over the tag. Were had they taken him though? We stood in silence for a moment before I spoke.

"Now theres a chance Joey is alive' I told them 'All we gotta do is find the Mothers, and then find Joey." I told them.
"How the fuck are we supposed to find them?" One of the ex-Panzers asked.
"Well for starters, you're the guy whos most likely been through this crap before, you should have a faint idea of where to start" I said to him
"Well we could always find one of these queers, beat 'im up a little then make him tell us were he is. Its pretty simple" He said with a hint of mockery in his voice. I should have thought of that but at the time I wasnt thinking straight.
"Okay lets go find one of them" I said walking out of the alley. We walked around their turf for a while without success. The guys wanted to leave but I wouldnt let them. "If you want in this gang, consider yourself in if you get back alive" I told them all. Finally as we turned a corner into a back street we saw 3 Satans Mothers standing outside a bar. I had an idea.
"Alright we aint wearin' colours and they dont even know were a gang, so what were gonna do is, walk right by them, pretend were a group of friends goin' in for a drink got it?" I told them. We walked towards the 3 guys and casually brushed past them. I heard them talking.
".....yeah the guy was tough man, I thought he would be a pussy but he put up a good fight. Hes strung up in the hangout just now" He said. I couldnt contain myself.
"Now" I said, grabbing a Mother's head and smashing it off the wall. He fell to the ground clutching his head and I stared kicking him in the face. The others went to work on the two others and soon there was 2 on the ground and one held in the grasp of Jacko, blood pouring from his mouth and nose, his hands behind his back. I grabbed him by the chin.
"Were the fucks your hangout you worthless piece of shit" I growled in his face
"Ugh....its a few blocks away, Its the big building with the billboard on front. Please leave me alone" He pleaded like a dog. I was surprised he cracked so easily.
"Finish him" I said, turning on my heel and walking away with most of the guys. I heard faint thudding sounds behind me as Jacko and the 2 ex-Panzers put the dog out of his misery.
