    I bolted out of a park and ran down the dark and misty streets of bowery manhattan. I jumped off a couple of stairs as I rushed towards 51st to reach the pub. The sky was pitch black like a panthers fur and the bright stars represented bald spots. Finally I reached the pub and stormed through the door like a madman.I saw vance and the gang.

"Well hey charlie boy!" tommy said.

"My name isn't charlie it's CHARLES!!"I said.

Vance was drinking a coca cola as he was sitting in the chair staring at me with a straight face. Tommy offered me a drink.I shook my head refusing to accept his offer. I then leaned on the table by vance "What are you going to do about that fury situation we got on our hands?"I asked.Vance slammed his hand on the table looking frustrated and angry.

"I'm sure we will get them back for killing mickey..Now leave me alone!"

"Then how are gangs going to respect us if we let them get away with stuff?"Tommy shouted.

I stared at vance with deep cocern. He was reading a magazine constantly turning the pages. It seemed like he was trying to disgrees the situation of the feud against us and the Baseball furies ever since they killed mickey during my initiation.Vance closed his eyes and bowed his head.From the looks of it, it seemed like he was praying. Quickly he lifted up his head looking confident as ever.

"Alright lets go show those mute retards who run this and who is the best!"vance said.

I nodded my head in false courage still feeling scared inside and nervous. Vance and the gang got up and left and walked out the pub and into the subway. Tommy looked at me.

"Uh charles? Are you cming?"he asked.

"Yeah I'll be right there!""I said in a shaky voice.

Vance still carried the bottle in his hand as him and the gang went to catch the train to riverside. I stuffed my hands in my overall pockets and ran out to catch up withem. Vance walked in front of me and pulled out a switchblade. My eyes widened and my heart started racing because I had the feeling he might try to kill me for no reason.

"Here take this!...Your going to need it" he said.

"Uh thanks..I appreciate it"I said.

Tommy called out all the soldiers that were going with us to revenge mickey's death. The soldiers lined up and one by one they walked into the train ready.

"Okay!..We got Jacker, Ed , Brody, Maurice and Maxwell!"tommy shouted.

We went into the train. Vance slowly lingered behind us looking non chalant. I sat in the train seat putting my head against the wall as I clutched  the switchblade tight in my hand feeling nervous as all hell. I stared at the fluroresent lights on the roof of the train. The train took off to riverside.

"I hope I survive this one" I whispered.

I managed to fall asleep with my head slowly noddind off the seat. It took us about a hour but it felt like a whloe day. Ed hit me on the arm "Wake up" he smirked. I noticed that the train finally stopped. I got up and put the blade in my pocket and walked out on the dark streets of riverside with the gang.

"I feel real stupid being out here"I said.

"Well you gotta do it anyway!"Brody said.

We walked down to the park but we encountered some teens that looked weird with nose rings and piercings. I stared at them speechless. One of the teens had a purle mohawk .He got up and approached me as he got in my face with stinky breath."You got some money dude?"

"Got money for what?"I asked.

"To help us ..get..well you know"he said.

"NO! Get outta my face, man..think im going to give you money to help you get High on drugs? HELL NO!"I yelled.

I turned my back following vance and the others to the park."I guess I will have to kill you to get the money from you!" I turned around and saw the guy pull out a bowie knife from his jacket.He ran towards me shouting. Vance turnned around and saw the guy try to come after me. He charged at him and swung him to the ground as the knife fell out his hand. Vance picked him up and brushed him upon a tree and kneed him in the stomach twice.

"Your in for it NOW!"vance said. "Jackler I want you to snatch  the nose ring out his nose!"

"Please let me go I won't do it again I promise!"the guy pleaded.

Jacker ran over to the teen and violently snatched the ring out his nose. The guy fell on the floor with blood spewing out his nose. He curled up and started to cry like a bitch. Jacker threw the bloodstained nose ring at the teen. Vance picked up the bowie knife and stared at the other teens until they sped off shouting down the block.

"Thanks for watching my back!"I said.

"Yeah, anytime"vance said.

"Thanks for the knife buddy!"vance said laughing at the crying teen.

I spit on the teen and kicked him in the back eight times and ran to catch up with the gang. We continued the journey to riverside to face the baseball furies. I looked back to see that guy crying and yelling in pain.I smirked and shook my head.I heard his cries from almost a mile away!

We reached the park and cautiously walked inside being aware of the furies. Tommy turned his head at vance "I guess they aren't here..When we got charles intiatied they hung out at the ballpark!" Vance jumped in front of us looking hyper  "C'mon then lets get moving!"We rushed to the ballpark and saw 4 fury patrols hanging out armed with bats.

"Uh oh there they are!"I said trembling.

"And im sure they won't be happy we're here!"vance said.

Brody saw a sharp piece of glass lying on the ground. We hid behind a fence.Brody grabbed the sharp glass while we were trying to figure out a way to march through the furies hideout. "I'll take those patrols out while you all get into the hideout" brody said.I was tempted to ask him a question until he took off. I saw him stab two furies in the nack and snapped the other fury patrols necks.

"What?...He didn't have to kill them" I whispered.

"Well that happens when your in a gang you'll be wasted or wrecked its a cruel world"Ed said.

Brody waved his arms wildly to give us the signal that he finished off the fury patrols. I stared at the bloodstained glass and thought about the switchblade vance gave me. "I gotta toughen up!"I said in confidence. All of a sudden a fury ran over to brody and knocked him over the head.

"Oh shit!"I shouted.

"Its time for some fun !"vance yelled.

Vance and the gang vaulted over the fence and ran into the ball park to fight the furies. I saw eight furies run out the hideout. I pulled out my switchblade "I wouldn't kill anybody but they need me" I ran into the ballpark to help my gang the PUNKS! I witness vance stab a furie in the stomach and throw him up against a fence. Tommy clobered a fury and beat him with a bat. Maxwell and jacker were fight two other fuires in a bull pen. Wheres's maurice?

"I can't stand here I gotta do something"I said.

"AAAAHHHH!!"A voice yelled.

I saw maurice get hit in the chest with a bat from a fury. I ran towards the fury and lashed out at him with the blade. Luckily I cut him across the chest. He fell on top of me trying his best to strangle me but he fell on the knife and pierced through his gut on accident. I felt scared looking at the knife.And what did I feel like?

I pushed the dead fury off of me and stood up. I felt like a murderer myself "What the hell did I call myself doing?" I said throwing down the knife. All of a sudden a fury grabbed me by my parted afro and swung me into a fence.I bit his arm with my braces and cut up his arm badly. The fury fell to the ground as he tried to pull me by my leg. I kicked him in the face. I turned around and saw a bat fly towards my head cutting me over the eye I quickly jerked my head back.

"That was close!"I said.

The fury yelled as he held the bat over my head ready to crush my skull.I was blinded from the blood that ran off my eyebrow and dripped into my eye therefoore I wasn't aware of the fury in front of me. All of a sudden vance ran towards the fury and stabbed him in the side as he pushed him into a garbage can.

"Get up, your alright!"vance said.

"That burns like hell"I said rubbind the cut.

"Looks like we lost maurice"

Jacker ran towards us as the furies ran back into the hideout to get more soldiers. My heart started racing knowing that I could've died just then.

"We got one more thing to do!"jacker said.

I turned my head at brody and saw him come to from his hit on the head.Vance pulled out the coca-cola bottle,a rag and a lighter.

"We're going to torch their hangout!"

Jacker and Ed nodded their heads and looked for some gasoline. After 20 minutes they came back with some gasoline. I looked up and saw the furies looking out the window and stare at me. Vance poured the gasoline in the bottle and light the rag.

"Your going to do this CHARLES!"Vance said.

"What?..Why me? Im not killing no one else!"I said.

I eventually sumed up the courage and took the molotov cocktail. I felt the heat radiate against my face. I threw the molotov cocktail into the window of the furies hideout.The flames consumed the hideout and bunt away. I heard yelling and screaming coming from the hideout. Brody got up "Thats one hell of a arm you got!"We went back to the subway and caught the train.

"I..I can't believe I killed them"I said.

"Well it doesn't matter they mickey so they deserve to die"vance said "Your a good soldier..im proud of you"
