With all due respect to fans of "Lost", 24 has been and still is the best show on network TV. (cable has many fine shows, Sopranos, The Shield, ect.)

It just blew me away that they killed off 2 major characters in like the first 10 minutes of Sunday's episode. I wonder where they are going with this? I'm sure the hostage thing is just a set up for a bigger emergency like last season (the powerplant meltdown was just a set up for the missiles).

I really hope they come up with something new. I'd hate to think that our country's nuclear arsenal is so vulnerable that some terrorist can just swipe some warheads every couple of years.

Also, my only real gripe with the show - don't they do any background checks at CTU? How is it possible that they have a mole planted there almost every season?

Does anyone besides me watch 24? I personally love that show...seriously, when it had to come on late due to the football game I was stomping around, cursing up a storm....I love it almost as much as I love Buffy!

I love it too, PRW. Very well written and it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through. The first 4 hours of this season have been great.

I love 24, I have 24 season 1 and 2 boxset which was only out for 24 hours , I havnt missed an episode and cant wait for season five in england!!!!.

Missed the first season but now have the boxed set so soon I'll sit down and watch it. From season 2 on I have not missed a single min. Only show were the lights get turned off and no talkin at my house! One guy you don't wanta mess with: Jack. (well maybe shm to)

I got season 3 for my jr high graduation...the first season I actually watched was season 4...
I don't know if anyone caught this, but the guy in the yellow tie played Badger on Firefly, and he had a major role on Medium last week!

I`m up to the last disc of series 1 and agree it`s edge of your seat stuff,at the end of each episode me and my chick have to watch another as you can`t wait to see what happens next,the way good shows should be.Been told series 1 is the best but can`t wait to watch the others over time so not watched the latest 5 series yet.

i really like this show but i always miss an episode here and there which kind of kills the whole point of the show.  i just netflix it. 

one thing that does bother me is, why must there be a mole in every single season?    can't they think of something else?

last nights was awesome but i can't believe they killed off edgar.  what do you think will happen to peter weller, was that room sealed?  and whats going to happen to sean astin, was his room sealed?  what the hell is going to happen to the rest of CTU, and how the heck are they going to get out of there?
