I wouldn't get too excited about it just yet. The Russo brothers are tied up with the Marvel movies for the next couple of years, and have been linked to a superhero tv show that's in development. When you start seeing news about casting, then let the anticipation build. Until then, forget about it. Bare in mind the remake has been in development for the past 16 years with no sign of it becoming a reality.
IF it does happen, it'll be interesting to see what they do with it and how the expand the mythos.
