I loved the guy from House---pulling those bits of paper out of his pocket, and saying his agent's name wasn't in his handwriting--what a kill!!

I also really loved and respected Ang Lee's speech for Best Director. I thought for as excited/nervous as he was--he said some wonderful things.
Not to mention I am Crazy about Brokeback Mountain!! What a powerful human movie.

There were a lot of funny speeches this year. Another one was thaat guy from The Office saying that "his wife" wrote his speech :D
You're right about Ang Lee, a man of few, and powerful words. He seems to be so humble and sweet. I haven't seen Brokeback yet, but I'm gonna, I heard it's a favorite for the oscar.

Well it sure is a favorite of mine---very stiff competition this year for Oscar, is going to be interesting program for sure.

You know, I only saw two episodes of lost, really great btw, but I missed a lot of episodes, including the first one, 'cause I'm always in school when it airs.

I hate that the Globes don't even mention e.r. anymore, I'm still a big fan, even with Carter gone.
