that match would have been graeme dott and nigel bond.
i saw my man steve davis get dumped by shawn murphy at least a yorkshire man progressed lol
i'd like to see either murphy or ken doherty go on to win.

I've been supporting Steve Davis as he's been going strong for so long which I think is very cool. Too bad he got knocked out, but at least he got to the second round at least. I see Ronnie is starting to struggle against Day. I think Williams might go all the way, though Day is proving to be a strong contender.

srry im from the USA. snooker is pool right? if it is i follow pool here in the US i love it!

Snooker is not pool, we have that as well. Snooker is popular in the UK and perhaps China as well. Snooker has a load of red balls, a yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black ball which are all worth different points. You have to pot a red and then a colour until they are all gone (putting it very simply).
Going back to pool - Pool tables in the UK are smaller than pool tables in the USA. I prefer to play American Pool over British Pool for this reason. I also prefer your rules.
