They bleed because the take a razor blade and slightly cut their forehead, and don't bleed. Then when they get hit in that spot blood will come out. When they get injured its because either its part of the show or they screwed something up, be it a move, or they fell out of the ring and break something. Wrestling is fixed but I don't love it any less. Also, some of it is real and some isn't. Most the chairs are real. Triple H's sledge hammer, is entirely fake: Summerslam 2003 (I think, maybe 02), Triple H got in the ring with his sledge hammer and leaned on it, and it bent, like styrophome.

Wrestling is fake and everyone knows that. The feuds are fake none of the wrestlers hate each other, the bleeding is real but it isn't from the blows, the wrestlers cut themselves with a razor blade during the match. You can also see the Punches and kicks are fake sometimes.

well, I don't think they really juice themselves as often as people think anymore. true some aspects of wrestling are staged. but you should never say fake in front of a wrestler. they still feel every bit of what they do. and the injuries aren't always from slips. sometimes it is just from what they do in the match. I don't care what anyone says, wrestlers are as athletic as any other sport.

Without a doubt, just look at some of 'em lol. Well most of 'em actually. But some of the slams look really sore, like Backbreakers and the like. Also getting thrown into the barrier and the outside of the Turnbuckle must really hurt lol

i don't like to beleive its fake because the acting is so real, and i like the rivalries and battles when i found out it was fake i didn't beleive it and i was so damn shocked, but yea sometimes you can tell that its fake because they whisper to each other and tell them what move they are going to do, i wonder how they pick who is going to win?

There is more going on behind the scenes during a wrestling match that you would believe. Backstage the writers, also known as "bookers" & "agents", come up with the storylines, rivalries, ect.

Letting a wrestler win is known as "Getting him over". A wrestler whose job it is to lose to more popular wrestlers and make him look better for the fans is known as a "jobber".

So, the question is, is wrestling fixed? If you mean are the winners of the match determined before the show even starts, then yes, I guess you could say it is fixed. But the action is as real as it could be. Some wrestlers are better at "selling" moves - making the audience think the move was much more painfull than it actually was, but you still need to be a top athlete to be able to pull off some of the moves and not get killed.

Also, did you ever notice the earplug that the ref is wearing? He is getting instructions from backstage on how to direct the match.

ok i know that most of it is fake but hey even if you know its fake it doesnt stop you watching it and some things are real i suppose wrestling is one of those sports that get popularity with people watching it wheter they now if its fake or not just one question do the audiences knw it when theyre watching it in the arena as a crowd member?

Unless your a young age they don't know that wrestling is fake but most of the older people in the crowd do.

its one of those things people are gonna argue about over and over even when they know the other persons right.

I used to love it but don't watch it as much anymore because WWE is a joke. it is fake but I don't look at it like that. the chairs and other weapons are not used properly in the wwe but ecw they do if you see they don't put there hand in the way also if you see Abyss use the tacks you would see that it would be painful. this was years back but did anyone see when Goldberg was talking in wcw and lex lugar it im with the chair on the back and he didn't know til about 5 secs after?

I was upset when i found out it was fake but i still luv it just the same! :p I mean who cares if it is fake or not? If it entertains you then you should continue to like it!

yeah wwe is deefanatly one of the things i keep watching. anyway i found out years ago that here  in the u.k. there was wrestling before the u.s but not sure about any other countrys anyway it was all real so how come they changed it to fake when wrestling stopped in the u.k. and started in other countrys example the wwe how come they didnt keep it real.

some of the storylines are very interesting for wrestling if you think about , but ya gotta love it
