PS2 OR PS3

I have both, but for some odd reason, I enjoy playing my PS2 more.  Any of you guys feel the same?

PS2 is better in my opinion. PS3 is awesome but the PS2 is still as good as the new systems. Not necessarily graphics-wise, but it's what is in the game that makes it good, and the PS3 is not stepping up when it comes to quality games. Soon they will but for now it's a pretty bland selection.

Yeah i got a ps3 on the day it came out i have not been disappointed it is great but i agree the ps2 has more games so that makes it funner but the ps3 games have got so much better graphics and realistic stuff they should get some more games in soon. I have six ps3 games at the moment that keep me preety ocupied.

I guess you are right, maybe when they come up with more games it might be more appealing for me to play it.

Even though I don't have a PS3, and I probably won't until 2008 or 2009, the PS2 is much better. But you also have to realize that the PS3's only been out so long, you can't expect it to have 40 amazing games in a year. Y'know?

Mate the ps2 is not better then the ps3 the ps2 just has more games because it has been out for 7 years the ps3 has been out for one year and has at least 100 games and has better graphics then the ps2 and has blu ray dvd player has much better online connection and you can put photos on there you can chat to people online threw headphones which i have got and the games are fantastic i have resistance fall of man fight night round 3 fifa 08 smack down vs raw 2008 call of duty 4 and stranglehold so i have a pretty good collection.

Bah! Features I can live without, or have to, since I can't get my internet over to the system. Plus, I don't think it has 100 games yet. Somewhere like half. Too bad sports games suck.

The PS2 is better in my opinion also. It has more games first of all. All the PS3 has is better graphics and memory card thingy where you don't need a memory card. Other than that whats so fasinating about it? It has great games that should be  on PS2.

what is wrong with you guys, and true ps2 has great games, ps3 is the next generation console, i have the x box and the x box 360, the x box 360 rules, only doubt i have is the warriors is out on x box which i also have

Since i own a PS2 and cannot afford a PS3, i say PS2 is better, dont like the idea that the PS3 costs loads all because of the DVD drive it has. I guess its all down to personal taste, maybe one day ill change to a PS3 or if Microsoft sort out the heating problems with the Xbox 360 i might sway towards it. Still say the PC rules all but i am a computer techinican so i would say that.

XBox is not bad, I think it has been a bit underrated.  I think the whole blueray doesn't really cut it for me.  So I stick with PS2.

i've never even looked at my ps2 since i got my ps3. it's obselete, i'm trading in most of my ps2 games too. you get quite a bit of store credit.

Seriously guys I got my PS3 the day it came out and I have to agree with Stevo I cant believe that you say the older console is better I have Resistance Fall Of Man,Call Of Duty 3,Call Of Duty 4,Virtua Tennis 3,Stranglehold,Fifa 08 and you know what there all horrible on PS2 compared to the PS3 the online on a PS2 is junk I know becuase I have online on my PS3 and I had online on my PS2 it lags it stuffs up the graphics suck the controllers have cords the memory car is 8mb compared to 60 g on my PS3 its like saying a letter is quicker then a E-mail but this is the thing that really getys me angry is when people I don't have enough money to get a PS3 so its junk if people actually bowered to do their research they'd find PS3 is actually selling the PS3 cheap becuase Blu-ray player cost $1500 to buy and its with the PS3 with everything else.So no the PS2 is not better than the PS3 and also about the whole game thing Sony has got 200 games lined up to be released within the next year end there alot better than what a crappy 6th generation console can produce.

I totally agree with swan1979 the ps3 is the best console out it has amazing features and i know because i have one the ps2 looks like junk compared to the ps3 well swan1979 said the whole thing the ps3 is the best console ever made hack it guys just because most people cant afford it does not mean you can say that a 7 year old console is better.
