exactly! i havnt even played on the ps3 but its the same situation as the x box and the 360, i own them both and 360 owns x box, one thing i dont like is the same games seem to be out for all both 360 and ps3,

Maybe we say this becuase It kinda stupid for someone to waste their money to get a new game console that only improve game graphics. Wow a sight for sore eyes. Anywayz they could've just installed the same thing on a PS2 and gave PS2 the new games just like Ps3 has. Nobody is gonna pay over 200 dollars just to play a game that has out of the box graphics.
the graphics are nowhere near the same. play a ps3 on a HD tv and then play a ps2 game. the first thing that game to my head was, ps2 graphics are awful. how did i ever put up with this. some of the the ps2 games such as san andreas and the warriors had very good graphics but others were terrible.
With a ps3 you also get all the online functions, the PS store, wireless controllers, faster processing etc
to upgrade a ps2 with all that would cost more than a ps3.
Why do you guys think the ps3 costs more money because it is better the ps2 came out 7 years ago and they are going to stop making ps2 games next year so then the ps2 will be over and gone so get over the ps2 because it sucks and the ps3 has alot more features then just pictures and internet because i have a ps3 these are the features of the ps3 pictures videos music internet blu ray dvd player usb ports up to 8 controllers and the controls are wireless and the graphics are better and has 60gb of space and these are the pathetic ps2 features normal pathetic dvd player and music and pathetic graphic games and the games are like 40$ now the ps2 is a old console that is pathetic compared to the ps3 i can not believe that you are comparing the ps2 to the ps3. And just because most of you guys can not afford the ps3 you say the ps2 is better i am sick of people saying that.
ajax the warrior what u say is defo true i cudnt agree more, the gaming world gets better as time passes and i mean i remember wen the spectrum and mega drive amiga etc was the top stuff for their time, we gota let go and move with it.
PS3 and PS2 are awesome consoles. I'm huge fan of Sony. Some peoples don't have PS3, they're still playing and enjoying in PS2. PS2 have great games, graphic is OK, but i would say that graphic on PS3 is too good. PS3 is in bad situation now, cuz he is on third place (behind Xbox 360 and Wii). I saw somewhere that 21 million PS3 consoles has been sold all over the world, and PS3 will get that second place, I believe, cuz Xbox 360 consoles has been sold in 28 million. PS2 will be in the shops about 2 years (thats my opinion). I have PS2 and i'm not boring when i'm playing games. It's great console.
blu ray and resistance 2 is awesome!
