Personally, I am a HUGE RTS fan. I just love a game where you have to think and where your mind is your best weapon, be it a turn based or real time game.

My current strategy games are:
ROME: Total War (One of the best RTS games ever)
Star Craft: Brood War
Dawn Of War
Pharao
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
Star Wars: Empire At War (only for the space battles though)
Caesar 3

Any other strategy fans out there?

Yes.

Age of Empires 2+3.
The ENTIRE Command and Conquer series.
Star Craft.
Dawn of War.
Dark Reign 1+2

After a few hours of multiplayer with a friend of mine, Battle For Middle Earth 2 is going on my all time favorites list as well! I don't know why but I got a bad first impression of it. However the sheer amount of different factions to play as, the mercenary units, the hero creation function and the improved graphics really make it a great game.

I really like the warcraft and starcraft games. Age of empires are pretty good too.
