Post your favourite video game songs in this thread.

My favourite would have to be the Theme of Laura from Silent Hill 2. It is an amazing orchestral piece that you wouldn't think was from a video game if you heard it on it's own. It just works so perfectly with the game and it's subject matter.

A close second is the song Promise, also from Silent Hill 2. I just like the sound of it.

Yeah I liked that song from Writers block too.

that dragon quest theme tune on the title track is an absoloute winner

I can't get the Alexia theme from Resident Evil: Code Veronica out of my head. It's the song that plays when you fight her for the first time. Also the main theme in the game for her and Alfred. Hell the whole soundtrack for that game. Also the soundtrack for the Kingdom Hearts games and FFX.

EXCEPT Murder Rap ??? That was my favourate song in the entire game. I also love the cover by The Insane Clown Posse. Class rap for ICP's style.

No ones posted here for a while but I didnt wanna satrt a new topic and I found two of the best songs ever. Both from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

1) Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean

I'm gonna go old school and say the ending music for Streets of Rage II on the Mega Drive... or the tune that plays on the surfing bit on the first California Games... or come to think of it, all the little beats and jams on the first Toejam & Earl...

Actually, I could be here forever naming a million Mega Drive and SNES games with cool music in them... but I won't. 

I liked the song from Halo, where them men hum. And the one from Mercinaries (can't spell that). when you are on the main menu. OH yeh and Rainbow six 3 black arrow had a good theme tune thing.

i liked the music from mercenaries too.
the spanish music from just cause is pretty good too, but i think rage against the machine would of been cooler in that game
