In this topic you can talk about the good, and bad things you see of the ps3. Here are mine
BAD: The discusting high cost its going to take me a while to get all that money.
The rip off spiderman logo. Last the controller, it looks exactly the same as the ps2 one. They should have made it different.
GOOD: The awesome games lined up for this console. The sweet/ better loking graphics than the x box 360. And the hard drive where you can put your own pictures, listen to music, ans the internet system it will have.

Good: they kept the old controllers because no one liked the new ones, the games e.g. mercenaries 2, there will be 2 versions, a 60gb and a 30 gb hard drive. amazing graphics, its an mp3 player. nice modern look to it. and its an alternative to microsoft! (its so annoying how microsoft always have to ruin everything, they have enough money!) its going to crush the nintendo wii.

bad: even the 30gb is ridiculously expensive, it will probably be my only christmas present.

I used to be a die hard sony fan with the PS2 but with all I've been hearing about the PS3 I will only be getting it if there eventually is a drastic price drop.

I mean, the blue ray etchnology honestly doesn't look that impressive. Sure it's nice, but the 360 displays graphics just as nice IMO.

Then theres the price. I don't know how much it will be in Swedish Kroner but I assume around 6000. Which is a LOT. As I said, not a chance unless I win the lottery or the price drops eventually.

Also, they hadn't even gone into actual manufactuing until a little while ago, there is going to be a huge lack of PS3's on launch, so even the people whoa ctually can afford it might have trouble getting one.

Finally, the games. The PS3 exclusives look fun, but not all that impressive compared to the likes of Gears Of War, Dead Rising for the 360 and Red Steel for the wii. Killing Day and Resistance: Fall Of Man honestly don't impress me that much,a nd now that Assassins Creed is not a PS3 exclusive, I'm even less impressed byt he game lineup.

I might get both a 360 and a Wii before I get a PS3.

Good: ...?

Bad: There so called worldwide launch has been cancelled and instead they are only shipping 400,000 untis to the US and 100,000 to Japan, Europe and everyone else must wait until March 07 before they get it.
Gran Turismo will there only 1080p game for now and it looks rubbish.
They've run out of test kits so game developers are left in the dark.
Their controller has lost the rumble mode.
Their motion sensor is cheap and boring.
They've cancelled numerous game titles.
GTA is no longer Sony exclusive.

BAD: They break down in 2 months it's been proven.GOOD: It has great graphics.

my playstation never broke down and i got it a week after it was released, and i did some research and it says that europe get the ps3 in november/december time.

just found this out, gta 4 for xbox 360 and ps3 is gonna cost a whopping ?50 which is about $94!!!

Ugh...I'm getting more and more put off by the PS3. I'm starting to question weather I will get it at all. =/

I know I'm never getting this system, it's too much money and nothing really impresses me to go out and buy the system.

Not for me, I just stick to PC. I like PC and games alot better

The price is still the major isssue for me, its simple way over the top

Good: It will have MGS4 and Final Fantasy XIII

Bad: It's not the Wii...

hehe.. you got that playstation pride on you huh turnbull? Just like me man, even though the x box 360 is way cheaper than he ps3, i WILL NEVER get an xbox console, its playstation till i die....!!!lol

hell yeah! the playstation is the original! the true gamers console! lol
