The horrid thick white line in the middle of the boardwalk of the bath house background gives it's fake origin away, amongst other things.
This image has been around for years though. Can't confirm this but I believe it surfaced pre photoshop era. Could swear i've seen it on the back of a rental vhs cover.

I think 9d is correct. I believe the top photo is the original because the bottom (boardwalk) photo is blank between Cochise's arm and leg and in the top photo there is background.

My only question was whether the second image was "photoshopped" (i.e. manipulated electronically), or if it was altered the old method of manually cutting and pasting with an X-acto knife, and blending the images
