This is my newest sig i hope it isn't to bad.

sorry man but i did not use a tutorial but basically what i did was download some brushes from

www.deviantart.com? ?

search for photoshop brushes in the top corner

i download grunge brushes and just apply them and keep making new layers and just kepp adding them and changing there settings to things like colour dodge and softlight and lighten.

and i do my brushing with the colours from the character im using so it blends nicely

cosigned, when i use to do backgrounds like that, its the same deal i did....just many layers with diffrent effects, try some blends with it also

yeah blends make the background stand out and just look better so use them aswell

hey i just made my first one . its a joke though. i like cubs' sig more anyway, for those of you who have seen my email address, this is why its "sadpig" he's a character i created as a tag. and the image is probably gonna end up much small than its supposed to be, im not sure why. but it always happens.
