I'd agree on Coldplay being a bit overrated but I think that just because their music is more progressive that it doesn't make it any less good. How are you so sure Green Day sucks? I mean they aren't like Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco! Those bands suck the lead singerf sounds like girls, and they can't play live either. I went to a Green Day concert with Jimmy Eat World as their opening act and they sounded so much better live then on the CD.

As much as I don't like Green Day, I have to say you're very correct Cowboy79. They sound so amazingly great in concert, it's crazy. Because a lot of bands that perform live really don't sound good. Green Day is the best band that I've ever heard to play live.
