There we go. Im a huge fan of Johnny along with many of the artists in that era.
Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels too name a few.

i like some artists and some songs. garth brooks, alan jackson, randy travis, neil mccoy. basically late 80s and early 90s country, the new "country" sucks.

I've definitely found its wrong to dismiss country, as in all genres there's some great stuff. There's always those cross-over artists like Cash, who everyone can enjoy though.

If so, do you agree that Country gained huge crossover appeal when it shifted its basic paradigm from dotted eighth to straight eighth rhythms?
