heres some facts on lemmy.

lemmys real name is ian kilminster he was born in stoke on trent england.he was an original member of hawkwind until he was kicked out for being arrested in possesion of drugs in 1975.several months later and after he was released he formed motorhead.

the nickname lemmy comes from his canny knack of going to everyone and asking guys to lend him stuff which inevitably got him the name lemmy.
