Okay Jackass this is about the Sex Pistols! Don't diss The Sex Pistols in a topic about the Sex Pistols! Anarchy In The UK is a classic but my favorite out of them all.

hey guys,
              i was only ten when the pistols hit the scene,but believe you me they totally rocked the "establishment"to the core in the uk,our so called leaders were afraid of them and this led to them getting bad press etc(they were even discussed in government circles for christ sake)this in my opinion led to them becoming more of a figure of amusement and detracted from their music,anarchy in the uk,god save the queen and pretty vacant are awesome records and don't let anyone tell you different!!!!!!!!!
i also feel getting rid of glen matlock and bringing in sid vicious was a mistake,but for maclaren it was all about money and sid=£$£$£$£$£$£$£$ and in this instance(recruiting sid)johnny,paul and steve sold out big time.
the pistols were good though,REEEEAAALLLL GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!

Sex Pistols are great.  Like Ajax said (and I think discussed here once before) getting rid of Glen Matlock was mistake musically.  However the Pistols were never about longevity.  I go back and forth on Sid.  Johnny was a great frontman and Steve Jones an underated guitarist but they could not keep up the charade Malcolm McLaren started.  "Ever had the feeling you've been conned?" - Rotten in San Francisco, last Pistol concert.

Yeah great band . I could not agree more about the Matlok thing , he wrote most of the songs that got them attention musically . Johnny Rotten was also quoted in saying " I just never liked the guy (glen) from the start" , Sid was a natural choice for Malcom , he was rude , brash , wild , careless and had looks ,too bad he could not play bass to save his life.....also he was one of the Pistols biggest fans.

As for my fav tunes , i like them all really but if i have to choose a couple these would be in the top :
