the old rock and roll is never recognized these day's, they say that the day the "king" died so did rock and roll, he wasn't even the king of it i think.

i'm really into guys like-

chuck berry
eddie cochran
little richard
jerry lee lewis
dion
buddy holly
bill haley
bo diddley
and although i should hate him, i like elvis a bit too.

anyone listen to these guys?

Sure do Bobo, anything from the 50's thru early 60's I love. Great music from back then. Even though I didn't live during that time, the music tells alot about the fun they had back then.

This really was some good stuff. Although my true love is Mid 60s to late 60s and very early 70s I still do a little old rockin from time to time.

Gotta respect Elvis but I agree these guys are the real Kings of R&R.

i could listen to classic 50's-60's Blues for the rest of my life.
Also Led Zep, The Who and the like were all magic from the late 60's

I'm more into 70's-80's. You know, KISS and Anthrax and Slayer. That stuff. But in the 60's-70's I'd say the Beatles were it.

My dad always listened to Buddy Holly and I like him from the 50s and 60s.  Also like The Byrds, and The Beach Boys, and The Big Bopper, Richie Valens, Four Seasons, etc.
