is any one one this forum a van halen fan! one of the most sucsesful rock bands in history and personaly my fav band. and whats your fav van halen song. eddie rocks the guitar man.

i love van halen, eddie does some mindblowing stuff (eruption).
best songs would have to be- jump, top jimmy, panama, eruption, hang em high plus many more.
and david lee roth would have to be my favourite vocalist

Van Halen with David Lee Roth is a great, exciting band. I personally despised Van Hagar. Favorite album would have to be Fair Warning. Favorite songs....Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, Hot For Teacher, Unchained, Everybody Wants Some, So This Is Love. Did you gus know Gene Simmons of Kiss saw the band in the early days in California and was so impressed he produced their first demo tape? Also when Ace Frehley left Kiss, Eddie Van Halen begged Gene to join the band as he was at this time sick of David Lee Roth.

i did actually (i have read simmons biography). bill aucoin and the rest of KISS thought that it was a bad idea concentrating on other bands (aucoin thought david lee roth looked like black oak arkansas), and soon after van halen got sighned by warner bros and simmons tore up the contract.
and the reason eddie did not go into KISS was because simmons was sure things would work out eventually if he gave it time.

Van Halen with the funny and ultimate VH front-man, Mr. David Lee Roth, that's where I stop.

Van Halen had its day. Eddie's guitar was above the rest of the day. David Lee Roth. Why did he have to be so egotistical. He was a great front man for one of the best bands in the world and he had to mess with with it. Extreme? That was the death of rock right there.
