Grand Funk Railroad

Post by The Warriors 9 »

No dought my second fav group since 69 and still is.

Some of you young guys will  I'm sure and some of you mid aged guys will think of some of there hits like loco-motion and some kind of wonderful (and thats cool if you like them) but I'm thinking of there second album (red) 1969, 4th Closer to home 1970, and 5th E pluribus Funk, 1971. (3rd is live 1970 good but I usually don't care for live stuff.)

After this I feel they kind of lost it but man these to me are gods gift!

My record player crapped out on me a number of years back (10 plus or so?) so I picked up 2 of there greatest hits cds thinking I was gettin most of the hits. Not even close! Looked thru my albums the other day and new I was missing some good songs (have a bad memory of songs sometimes). So I picked up there 2nd and 4th cd the other day and was like damn now I remember why I've always considered them my 2nd fav. :D

Will never look at a best hits album the same again.
