I am sure some of you guys know the majority of songs have hidden messages, meanings, etc. Tell us what you think, base yourself on articles you've read, interviews, anything. I am sure we will never know what the artist's songs true meanings are, but we can share ideas or info. Well here is mine:
Hotel California:
According to an interview, Don Henley said this song came up while he was sitting alone in his beach house in California during sundown. He played it on his accoustic guitar. Now the song meanings are different. One is that Hotel California was an exclusive high class brothel in Todos Santos, Baja, Mexico and that the song evolves around (obviously) drugs and sex. The other was about The Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles being haunted and he wrote about that.
You choose a song and tell us the meaning, or add to this one if you like.

Just thought id mention that Deep Purple's 'Strange kinda Woman' was about an actual person.
It was about one of their friends who met this girl one night and basically instantly fell in love with her, she didnt want him but he kept chasing, he eventually got her and they soon got married, two weeks after that she was dead. Its an excellent song but its sad that its a true story

Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven.
Played Forewards:
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now,
It's just a spring clean for the May queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on.
However, Played In Reverse (And The Song Idea For That Matter):
Oh, Heres to my sweet satan, the one who's little path,
would make me sad, who's power is satan,
He'll give those with him 666,
There was a little toolshed, where he made us suffer sad satan..
Proof is obvious. Download the song, and open up 'sound recorder' on the computer. Play the song and hold the computer microphone to the speakers and record. Put the settings to reverse and listen carefully, while reading the lyrics I have provided.

well if you listen close to Lenny Kravitz "american woman" in the background it sounds like instead of american woman it's saying marijuana. and "magic carpet ride" the lyrics say you don't know what we can find but it sounds like "you don't know what the weed can find". and a bunch of Bob Dylan's songs were about drugs like Mr. Tambourine man and "everybody likes to get stoned"

its not exactly like it, your topic is about playing songs backward wheras this topic is also about messages given by the songs lyrics or significant parts or whatever, there are similarities though

The Wierd Al one is hilarious... "Satan Eats Cheeze Whizz"
The one in the empty spaces song by Pink Floyd is funny, but the chinese girl one is a bit creepy.
