for me, the greatest glam bands would be....
the sweet
kiss
the new york dolls
slade
and songs....
ballroom blitz
strutter
cum on feel the noize
plus a bunch of others that i cant think of, my fav glam band is the sweet followed by the dolls.

ooooooo... Marc Bolan, The Electric Warrior (damn i wish i thought of that name when i signed up here), excellent, T-Rex was quite possibly the first band that got me onto the sort of music i listen to now, listening to electric warrior on my mum and dads old record player and acoustic warrior on my brother's CD player (i was very young and didnt have the need for such material possesions). I am truly in debt to the works of [glow=red,2,300]T-Rex[/glow]

True, true. They were 70's so you're right, they can't really be considered glam.
