ive been playing guitar officially since january, i play rock, punk, blues etc. but i usually play sloppy three chord rock and roll, just so i can imitate my punk idols. i also like to play lots of scales, cos i dont wanna be a complete retard on guitar.
i was in a band but quit a few weeks ago due to creative differances and my guitar parts (to name a few).

I played rythmguitar for a few years in a metalband...
After six years or so I stepped out of the band and started to create my own music.
Still making a lot of noise with metal

When I finish a few complete numbers I will start a band again....using this gear :
Good sound for some heavy stuff

I played lead guitar in my cousin's band for a bit. We were called 'Plasma Cabbage.' 8)
I quit once they stopped wanting to play Kiss and Rage Against The Machine, because they wanted to play stuff by The Raconteurs and Green Day. And I hate them. I got tired of covering songs too. I wanted to write stuff but they never wanted to. I had some crappy guitar that isn't even a brand name. The head is blank. I'm saving up for a Blue Faded Gibson SG. 8)

^ A lot of people can't

It's a good way to start practise and play guitar.
My first guitar riffs were those of ac/dc...whole lotta Rosy..
After years of practise I now end up playing stuff from Pantera, Fear Factory etc.etc.
I also got serious plans to cover the Warriors theme of the movie...
The one you can hear at the beginning of the movie...but with some metal style in it.
Is there somebody who did this before or is also working on something like that ?
Please let me know

I can play about half of "Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child" on my bass.
And about half of the Maylene and the Sons of Disaster cd too.
Along with a few random songs.

Well I've been playing guitar for two years now, and I like to think I've progressed since I began. 99% of the music I play now is written by me (including a warriors song called "these chicks are packed"). The ccasional cover comes up, but then it's almost always a video game song (silent hill theme, hell march from Red Alert 2).
My friends all think I'm good, which is nice to hear. I know I'm not great, but I aint bad, that's for sure.
Right now I just kinda jam with my friends, not in a solid band yet.
