Positive Karma. You put that SO well I just can't agree more.vermin76 wrote:KNOCKDOWN wrote:Well, what would YOU have done different then?vermin76 wrote: most of the game was totally irrelevant to what happened in the film.rockstar should have done more research before blundering ahead with what they did.
The game builds up to what happens in the film and is almost word for word when it comes to it. You have to admit that it's cool that we get more of an insight into how and why The Warriors, as a gang, became. The feel, the look, I'd say it was very relevant, man. And the fact that most of the game characters were played by the actors themselves is hardly blundering ahead.
Just my opinion.
WHAT WOULD I HAVE DONE DIFFERENT?
i'll tell you.
i wouldnt have bothered trying to make it look as though any of the 9 chosen warriors started the gang.the mystery of who started the gang should remain a mystery.theres 120+affiliates in the total warriors set up any of the 120 could have started the gang.
i personally dont have a problem with the blood and gore thats what happens in brawls that get heavy theres gonna be blood splattered over a pavement somewhere.
my overall point of the game being totally irrelevant is the game should have been set to either the film or book more than adding something that looked good but was totally out of touch with the movie.
i think they should have made the chapters of the dvd into the missions and stretched them out to approximately the time it would have taken the gang to get through that obsticle.
MY OPINION KNOCKDOWN YOU WANTED IT YOU GOT IT!

Re: What makes the game a failure when compared to the movie?
the only part of the game i kinda have a problem with is when they beat up the warriors and stuff cause when they go in there teritory after the metting they act like they never met sooooooo it kinda doesnt fit.
Re: What makes the game a failure when compared to the movie?
I think it was pretty good except for SNOW his personality was way off and in the game cowboy is a good fighter but in the movie you dont see cowboy fighting until the punks.

Re: What makes the game a failure when compared to the movie?
they shoulda shaped the intro prior to the movie diffrently because many gangs didnt know the warriors including the riffs and in the game they did so it was kinda weird. and the boss fights i dont think shoulve taken that long because it kinda shows Luther being weaker and in the game he is this big tought guy that takes a million hits to kill

That's the biggest problem with the game.oleksiy wrote: the game was pretty easy
I never think "We're gonna lose, RUN!"
And by violence, I mean Swan slitting necks.
Re: What makes the game a failure when compared to the movie?
I THINK THEY SHOULD MAKE ANOTHER GAME OF IT BETTER AND IN TUNE WITH REALITY.
