On the Eurogamer site there are a few snippets of information as well as a decent review.

Apparently Rockstar have had the licence to The Warriors for 7 years! and it has just been a pet project for company executives who like the film!

Rockstar are trying to secure the rights to the original soundtrack (I hope that comes through in time!).

At my local game store yesterday, they had a list of upcoming games and Warriors is set for release in the US on October 18....let's see, that's.....76 days.....
I'm gonna go right after school that day and pick up a copy!
I really hope the deal goes through for them to get the rights to the music!

as i remember the trailer had a similar version to Barry De Vorzons intro, so I'm quite sure they have at least De Vorzons stuff tied up in there name....yay!
