On the new ign preview it says something about a "secret mode", has any one got any idea's what they think it is?

they said it was like a classic brawler, a 2D fighting game inside the warriors?

That would be fantastic if you had a Double Dragon/River City Ransom side-scrolling mode.

Whatever it is ign said that it was better than the rumble mode itself so it should me amazing 8)

theres no way its better than rumble mode. rumble mode lets you play as any of the 30 gangs in 5 vs. 5 brawls and it can even turn into a 15 fighter brawl depending on the arena and conditions.

unlesss the old school mode is like a collection of 8 levels involving a street and getting from point A to point B while fighting waves of enemies along the way, playing as any gang you want, and even co-op supported, then just maybe it might be better than Rumble.

well most of the time ign are right, so i'll go with them on this one, but I wonder what the secret mode is?
Maybe something like arcade mode or 1 on 1 fighting :p

maybe its a survival mode. pick a gang and try beating all the other gangs as you progress in the city?

or maybe its like GTA free roaming. hunt down the other gangs and waste them all.

or both

yer, free roaming would be good, but maybe after you complete the game you unlock extra missions or can leave your gang or something.

Maybe it is 1 on 1 WWE / Fight Club style!

I made a post earlier about how I thought a 2D bralwer would be very fun, a la the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game. I hope that's the big secret.


The only thing that could possibly make this better is an alternate storyline that lets you change the movie....or go beyond it, or play a series of missions that tell you who Luther was talking to.....

I thought it was his mommy, ala "I'm checking in" but then he throws it off with gang conversations. Probably other Rogue members.

Well IGN said that it was old school, so it should be something like 1 on 1 fighting or something that we have played before in another game.

Hmm...oldschool could mean 2-d scroller, a more " locked camera" liek fighting force, or just one on one.

To be honest i would prefer Rumble mode to that, and ign said that it was better than rumble mode so I wonder what it is?
