How do you run fast enough to avoid the cart in the mission with the hi hats?

Keep tapping X, as fast as you can.

Still keep getting run over

It took me two tries.... I don't even think you have to touch the control pad.... I just pounded X as fast as possible.

I am assuming this is the PS2 version by the way... I don't know which button it is on X-Box.

I died the first time.

It's just as bad as running from the Turnbull AC's bus.

yeah, i don't think you have to use the analog stick at all either - i just held down the L2 buttin to sprint and tapped away...

I can't do it. At all. I just can't. Even when I held down L2 it did nothing and I keep dying.

seriously, there was no trick involved or anything....when i did it, i held L2, pushed the left stick in the general direction as the screen rotated and just tapped.... put the controller down on a hard surface so you can get your right finger going like it's morse code!

I cant beat it either i've died about 20 times

i did it the first try...i used my index finger instead of my thumb because i can tap the X button faster that way

I did the Hi-Hats one on maybe the 1st or 2nd try, but I can't even count how many times I died running from that Turnball AC's bus.

I got by both easily. The cart seems to be a bit harder, or Cleon is just slower than Swan because I actually ran past all the other Warriors when running from the A.C's.

I can't understand why you guys has problem with this misson.
I made it on my first try.
