I was just wondering, the game made a huge deal about the killing of some cops and gang members. The cops I can understand, but anyone wonder that maybe there's just some unseen lines that the gangs have layed out, that you can wreck a rival gang, but killing is a no no? Makes little sense to me, but in the movie with the exception of the Rogues no one evidently dies. Maybe there's some messed up sense of honor among the armies that you don't cross that line and kill, the exceptions being "an eye for an eye" as when (SPOILERS) a certain someone threw a molotov at another.
Other unwritten rules are also present in the gang, as in the Heavy Muscle flashback mission Ajax and Snow get their colors stolen, and when you overhear the Destroyers they talk of it as if that was the worst thing you could do to another soldier's "honor," and it's just something that's not done. Also you notice that the Destroyers didn't kill Ajax and Snow, just beat them up, thus reinforcing my idea...
But then again in the movie Masai says "...if not, wasted!" But maybe that was because the Riffs were still in heavy revenge mode, and they were overreacting and gave the option to kill because they thought the Warriors had a gun or two on them?
Anyone agree, disagree?
unwritten rules of the gangs?
