Other games to play while waiting

Post by Hippy »

(Been a while but I back again)
Anyway... There are some other games that can be great to play in hand held and even arcade games to look for.
*River City Ransom*
*Final Fight*
*64th Street avenue*(Old arcade game it should be on one of the arcade games with the libary of games in it try looking for one where you can play a fighting version of Megaman)
*ManHunt*(More along the lines of playing the Brawl Game but using the glass shards less and fist fighting more I got up to 32 kills)
Grand Theft auto Vice City( Use the play as a civialian code to find a gang member and go out and hang with your home boys. Theirs two gangs one wearing Jackets Black and brown and another wearing denim vests)

I hope that this will be intertaining while we wait for Rockstar.
Always be awhile, Not here much so don\'t expect much of a response

I just had a good idea. Anyone with one of the new wrestling games (Smackdown games for the PS2 or Day of Reckoning for Gamecube) could create the Warriors or any of the other gang members & use them in the game. I think Xbox owners might be out of luck until Wrestlemania 21 comes out cause you cant add text or designs to clothing in Raw's create a wrestler.

I know that in Day of Reckoning, they even have the Warrior's winged skull as a logo with the same colors & everything. All you gotta do is write the name on top & voila, you have a perfect Warriors logo. It also has baseball uniforms so you could make the Furies. Plus it's got create a stencil (the same thing as paint program in windows), so you can make any logo you want. I'm gonna have to get on this when I have some free time.

Just think, now you can have Mercy take on one of the Lizzies in a bra and panties match. Just don't make that Mexican chick who gets the chair smashed over her head.

Batman returns and Maximum Carnage for snes are pretty good classic beat up games. They are somewhat gang related too. In Batman returns you fight a gang of people dressed up like clowns. In most Maximum Carnage levels you fight teenagers and thugs in trench coats. Both the games do have certain types of manuvers that other beat em up games didn't offer.

Star Wars episode III is an awesome game. Don't play it if your waiting to see the movie or else you'll ruin the movie for yourself.

Well I surgest Freedom fighters for Ps2 X-box and I think Gamecube

anyhow In this game you play as a soldier fighting off the soviet invasion of america in an alternate timeline and what's awesome is the fact that you have this thing called Charisma which allows you to recuit other freedom fighters it's a pretty good game and the cool soviet taking over america storyline is awesome

They could use that charisma system in The Warriors. you could recuit players though your charisma for doing things for you gang.

Somebody already said River City Ransom. Due to the fact that many of the things I thought of have been stated by others (Man this place rules), I reccomend River City Ransom EX, for the Gameboy Advance. Even though it reverts back to the Kunio-Kun Japanese school uniforms for sprites, there's still more gangs, techniques, items, characters, and weapons, and, hell, you can even recruit members to your own gang, who will follow you around and kick arse for you... if you get proper reputation and such. Awesome little gang.

I mean, it's always fun to knock pricks named Piro and Largo out with a ladder as your posse beats down the rest of their gang using chains and sticks. The gang leaders can be a blast to fight, too, with their different techniques.

Finally, each gang even has different attributes and such. (IE, the Dragons will throw rocks until they get close enough to start their attack, the Frat Boys will launch the offensive really fast but run away before the going gets rough, Rockers wildly use weapons, Cowboys rush in headfirst, usually weaponless, and fight til the bitter end). Just a good old-fashioned classic-style gang warfare game, good for waiting until the Warriors comes out.

Also, for some fun, bloody romps in RCR style (but with ZOMBIES! And NINJAS! and stuff), Zombie Smasher X 1 and 2, from Totall Screwed Software ( http://www.totallyscrewed.net )
* Insert awesome line from the Warriors here. *
