Sol Yurick, who wrote "The Warriors" novel in 1965, has passed away at the age of 87. Thank you, Mr. Yurik, for having written this fascinating novel.

Very sad news - although I have read only The Warriors - there's another book of his that I wanted to read - I believe it is called Fertig - its the novel he wrote just after The Warriors.

It was also made into a movie called The Confession starring Ben Kingsley and Alec Baldwin.
