A different time period because the movie is in 1979 and the book is in the whole Roman years. Look on "When Is It?" because I posted it!!

Wow did you even read the rest of the posts in that topic ? The book is based in the 60's not the roman years.

he means the original story the book on the movie is based on a book by the romans duh

the book the movie was based on took place in the 60s. it was inspired by a story that took place during roman times
