i never noticed that before, good find. People probably just thought it was a drink, besides its not like security was really tight there if the rouges got a gun through.

Actually I think it was a reference taken directly from the book.  In the novel, one of the members carried the liquor and the cigarettes.  The liquor was used for that extra shot of courage to keep their spirits up for battle if necessary.  Even though a few of the events vary from book to screen, I guess they kept this one in and then got the idea to use the liquor for destruction vs. liquid muscle.  Either way, they found a use for it :)

A possible thought on why Snow was in possesion of a drink was for celebration purposes. Think about it, the conclave was suposed to be BIG and knowing something great might happen, he brought a little something to celebrate with. Any one support this theory?

I agree kinda, i see what you mean, maybe an offering like i said before to cyrus as a mark of respect
