Over all, I prefere the movie version.  I think its paced better.
Theres bit that I like in the script that would have been good to see incorperated somehow.  Beating the furie to try to get him to speak would have fit in.  I liked the minor conflict with the mongols as it broadened the warriors history more, even though it was set in the day time.  I wasn't keen on the fox character having a bigger role as ive always found him the least interesting of the group (imo).  I think too many warriors are killed off in the script and not having Brian Tyler speak untill the end would have been a loss to the film.  I didn't like the Dingo's story arc and having swan return for the end just seemed too convinient for the story.  I think the changes made were for the better.

i perfer the movie version because in the script there was just to many thing dealt with at first and plus with Swan held captured by the other gang i did not think fox and mercy had chemistry.The escape seen was kind of generic because there was alot of escape movies in the 70's i just wanted to see different.Plus there would not be good leadership.Just My Opinion

Movie Version here too... I think that, Above All, Movie's Feel is Perfect the Way it is, and it's 100% Better than The Original Script's. My 2 Cents.

The other thing I didn't like about the original script is the Fox reveals his real name.  I prefere the use of street names only as it adds to the mysticism of the characters.

I prefer the movie version to the original script and I agree with you about the street names but, you know what, I'd give my right hand to know what Swan's real name is, or at least why Swan is Swan. :-k

I preferd the movie one. It would be cool to see the original one but there is things that would have ruined the movie.
