Seen a bunch of exploitation films lately and saw some that might be enjoyable obscurities for Warriors fans - admittedly with a little more sleaze.
The first one to mention would be Deadbeat At Dawn a very low budget gang movie directed, produced, written, special fx make, stunt choreography by and starring jim van bebber. Bit hard to get a hold of but very impressive for what it is. Some awesome stuff in it and real warriors feel at moments.
Switchblade Sisters - a cheap Jack Hill movie ...with campy gangs.
aand Savage Streets a very sleazy "rape revenge" movie but its 80s and has stupid looking gangs.

Re: Exploitation Corner
I aquired Savage streets last week. Not got around to viewing it yet, but you can't go wrong with linda blair and a crossbow.
I've been watching the lesser known cannibal films. Avoid Amazonia: the cathryn miles story. Deep river savages was enjoyable. Kinda reminded me of a man called horse. If you like genuine animal mutilation and breast shots every 5 minutes, then this is the film for you. Mountain of the cannibal god was just dumb fun. Emmanuelle and the lost cannibals is worth picking up on dvd as you get the soundtrack as an extra. Green hell aka cannibal holocaust 2 is pathetic. Avoid. I enjoyed Cut and run but my opinion may be slightly biased as i'm a fan of B-movie actor Michael Berryman. Last cannibal world is the last one on my backlist to watch.

Re: Exploitation Corner
Just finished watching Deadbeat at dawn. I see where you're coming from with the warriors comparisons. The gangs (Ravens and Spiders) calling a truce and uniting to take on the city. The truce being broken by gang member being shot ect. Didn't quite get the ouiga board bit and the kalidescope transitions didn't fit in. Nice stunt where he leaps out the car off the bridge.
The gang fights are unrealistic due to the cartoonish violence and Troma-esq gore effects. Found the decapitation by car scene very amusing.
Did they lift nunchuck sound effects from Enter the dragon?
